In part 1 of this two-part series, we talked about nearshoring and one big reason why it can be a struggle. But there’s another equally valid reason why implementing a nearshoring strategy isn’t as easy as it might seem.
In its 2021 Reshoring Index, global management consultancy Kearney found that 92% of U.S. manufacturing executives have considered nearshoring. Of those surveyed, nearly half (47%) had already moved some of their manufacturing operations close to home.
